The Real Agenda, the podcast for political change, launches partnership

London: 17 July 2019: A new political podcast network has been announced by The Real Agenda, the podcast for political change. The Real Agenda Network (TRAN) aims, initially, to partner with 30 campaigning organisations who collectively have an online following of over 500,000, and which would act as a solid base to build an engaging audience. So far, 10 organisations have agreed to participate in The Real Agenda, who have a combined online following in excess of 100,000.

The focus will be on content that addresses the issues of inequality, poverty, environment and democracy, and seeks to provide answers with a call-to-action, as that’s The Real Agenda! Inclusion in the network is open to podcasts produced by like-minded organisations committed to progressive social change. For those who do not already have a regular show The Real Agenda team can assist in producing podcasts for partners.

Tom Burgess, founder and host of The Real Agenda said:

“Our aim is to bring positive political change. We can only achieve this by working together, and so partnering with like-minded organisations makes absolute sense. Podcasts are a great medium to share the message, as it is immersive, selective listened by those that are genuinely engaged. The response from partners so far indicates that we are well on our way to surpass our target.”

The Real Agenda Network currently produces the following editions:

1. The Real Agenda: interview on urgent issues & how they can be resolved, an American edition has also been piloted

2. Weekly Wake Up: news, comment & action, co-presented studio format with guests

Plus two monthly shows:

1. Around The House: talking to MPs determined to make a difference

2. Challengers for Change: talking to inspiring campaigners
